🌳
Himalayan blackberry
📍 1101 Woodstock Way, Bellingham, WA 98226, USA
🗓 Season: July · August · September
🔍 When is it ripe?
Large, fully black berries. Same cues as common blackberry: comes free easily, no red core, dull rather than shiny. Vigorous canes — protect arms when harvesting.
Lots of blackberry brambles along the path to the south of the pond. Some deer paths are accessible to humans and lead to more undisturbed berries. There are also wild sweet peas along the paths to the north of the pond.
