🔍 When is it ripe?
Clusters of translucent red berries. Mildly toxic raw — can cause nausea. Must be cooked for jelly or juice. Ripe when glossy red and slightly translucent.
Couple large bushes along the property line between apartment and retirement home. All have large round flower balls (Viburnum opulus Sterilis) & won't bear fruit.
