🔍 When is it ripe?
Bright red and detaches from the core plug with no resistance. Fragrant and very soft when ripe. Autumn-fruiting varieties produce a second flush in September–October.
Bus stop at SE 64th and Harold has a drinking fountain and many varieties of berry; blueberry, blackberry, raspberry. Many can be picked from the sidewalk.
