🔍 When is it ripe?
White to pale pink or lavender when ripe. Very sweet and mild. Falls from the tree when ripe — spread a sheet below and shake. Extremely delicate; eat within hours. Ripe berries stain less than black mulberry but deteriorate even faster.
Tree is located in the back corner of a parking lot next to the road (alley)-good public access with many low branches, white mulberries are already generally less flavorful but this one was particularly dull
