The ONLY Edible part is the Nectar inside the Flower, NOTHING ELSE including the flower petals so don't eat those, just lick the nectar that's on the petals. It's is super sweet, taste like honey.
Find a part with low branches, pull and lick inside, detaching flower not necessary. Harvest on days where there hasn't been rain since rain can dilute the nectar.
Flowers in May, Peaks in Mid May.
