🔍 When is it ripe?
Turns red, yellow, or purple depending on variety; flesh gives slightly under thumb pressure. Taste-test — ripe ones are sweet-tart with little astringency. Drops easily from stem when gently twisted.
Don't be shy, come pick some on public property where there's no sidewalk but a dirt path, all walks of life come to this location plus lots of cars see this area but remember mother nature is smart and these cherry plums I don't know much about, my family member told me they taste amazing because they got curious plus hungry. Great way to save some money!
