🔍 When is it ripe?
Round, yellow-bronze skin. Unlike European pears, eat when still firm — they do not soften at room temperature. Ripe when colour develops fully and a sweet fragrance is detectable. Crisp, juicy flesh.
At least two pear trees in parking lot islands of Lower Elwha Health Clinic, other apple and fruit trees in/along edge of parking lot. Ask Clinic before harvesting
