🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully black (not red or dark red) and comes off the stem with no resistance — zero pull. Dull rather than shiny; a shiny black berry is still slightly underripe and tart. Eat the same day for best flavour.
10 to 15 metre long stretch of blackberry bush with good yield, just follow the cut grass path to the left as you enter the field and you'll find it on your left covering the wire fence. Beautiful.
