The owner said that I can pick the food on their land. I believe they said that anyone can pick the food on their land, because they want to share food they just don't use themselves. Still it's good to double check and ask, because I'm not 100% sure it's for everyone, but I believe they said anyone can pick their plants. Wait till the monstera is split open really far all the way before picking - as otherwise it might be unripe.
