🔍 When is it ripe?
Berries fully coloured and slightly soft. Stem where it joins the bunch turns woody and brown. Seeds easily visible inside. Sweet throughout when fully ripe — taste from different parts of the cluster as they ripen unevenly. Grapes do not continue ripening after harvest.
These grapes go unplucked every year!
Edit: I just went to look for these and as of Aug 2025, Weber State has started construction in that area and have mostly cut down the grapes and put up a new fence. I believe the grape vines are still there, it just might be a couple years before they grow back and have fruit.
