🔍 When is it ripe?
Must be fully ripe (very soft, almost jelly-like) before eating. Harvest after first frost or when naturally falling. Dark orange to purple when ready. Rich, caramel-sweet flavour.
Lots of fruits, some low hanging with no ladder or tool or climbing and many high. Ripe in October definitely but I am not sure about other months.
