Crow garlic
π 19527 Transhire Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20886, USA
All over this field you will find Garlic. This is a relatively safe source to eat from just make sure it's not growing in shit for obvious reasons.
To Identify, they look like a grass clump that smells like garlic when crushed. Leaves are hollow and delicious.
Entire plant is edible raw or cooked. That means the green leaves, the bulb/bullets and flowers. Greens are best in early spring. They are good from February to May. (EVEN WITH SNOW, just dig underneath it.
Harvest bullets in June and spread them around for more food.
Also someone should start a secret garden here, no one comes here. Grow your own food cuz SHIT WILL HIT THE FAN and FOOD PRICES WILL GO THROUGH THE ROOF. LEARNING YOUR WILD EDIBLES is a must.
Remember When starting garden woodchip mulch for trees and shrubs, compost for greens and herbs. Tomatoes a mix of both.
