🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully black (not red or dark red) and comes off the stem with no resistance — zero pull. Dull rather than shiny; a shiny black berry is still slightly underripe and tart. Eat the same day for best flavour.
Healthy Blackberry bush in the middle of the Rite Aid Parking lot, on a parking lot island. Due to location, I avoided eating the fruit, however, I did take a few cuttings for propagation.
