🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully black (not red or dark red) and comes off the stem with no resistance — zero pull. Dull rather than shiny; a shiny black berry is still slightly underripe and tart. Eat the same day for best flavour.
If you go into this apt complex and walk to the top of the hill on the steet, by building C, there are a large swatch of blackberry bushes that get a lot of sun and mature into really good blackberries. People do drive by here in cars, so exhaust probably on them.
