🔍 When is it ripe?
Turns red, yellow, or purple depending on variety; flesh gives slightly under thumb pressure. Taste-test — ripe ones are sweet-tart with little astringency. Drops easily from stem when gently twisted.
Not actually sure what kind of plums these are but in mid to late summer these are a delicious sweet treat on the church lawn.
