🔍 When is it ripe?
Fragrant at the stem end; yields to gentle pressure. Colour varies by variety. Ripe when fragrant and slightly soft throughout.
The tree is in a rather difficult spot, access is through either the tunnel on the other side of the road or down a steep stone slope.
The tree is technically on public property but is very close to the house and there is no fence between either.
