2016: New Aldi just finished, they have a nice bin very often full. I have been numerous times it was all fine, when I came back from Fraser Island though the bin was locked in it's little shelter. Before that never. Use to go during day time just after closing or sometime before. Even locked you can still get in from the top. Would just be better to be 2 then. You cannot open the lid 100% because of the ceiling. At night a guy might be there. Just look on the parking, he stays in his car. The bin is not easy to see from the clients. Very nice spot. Enjoy! PS: The shelter might be locked not the bin, usually to full to be anyway.
