🔍 When is it ripe?
Golden-orange colour all over; red blush is fine but green means unripe. Gives slightly under thumb pressure and separates cleanly from the pit. Sweet, floral aroma. Short window — harvest daily once they start colouring.
Often the owners of some of the apricot trees along this road in this area will have a sign out that says the fruit is free if you pick it.
