White mulberry

📍 210 Orchard St, Elmwood Park, NJ 07407, USA
White mulberry Public
🗓 Season: May · June · July
🔍 When is it ripe?
White to pale pink or lavender when ripe. Very sweet and mild. Falls from the tree when ripe — spread a sheet below and shake. Extremely delicate; eat within hours. Ripe berries stain less than black mulberry but deteriorate even faster.
The tree is located on the post office parking lot, it's easy to access on the side street and come inwards towards the lot. Best to come after hours of the post office so mailmen don't look at you funny.
