🔍 When is it ripe?
Must be fully ripe (very soft, almost jelly-like) before eating. Harvest after first frost or when naturally falling. Dark orange to purple when ready. Rich, caramel-sweet flavour.
This tree is the skinniest of the trees in this little park area outside of my school. It has blocky bark and is close to the very large trees.
