🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully black (not red or dark red) and comes off the stem with no resistance — zero pull. Dull rather than shiny; a shiny black berry is still slightly underripe and tart. Eat the same day for best flavour.
A lot of berrys next to the street. Don't know about pests :/
but if you go 200m left on Purtons Rd, you'll find a farm on the left site - more barrys, no pests, private land but friendly people.
