🔍 When is it ripe?
Classic Bartlett: skin turns yellow-green from green. Harvest when the neck near the stem gives to light pressure. Ripens off the tree in 4–7 days at room temperature.
Huge tree with tons of pears, easy to access, but you really need a fruit picker to reach bc the branches are so high. Good quality fruit! I think this property belongs to the nursing home, so you could just ask them to pick.
