🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully black (not red or dark red) and comes off the stem with no resistance — zero pull. Dull rather than shiny; a shiny black berry is still slightly underripe and tart. Eat the same day for best flavour.
To the left of Economy Supply is the old boxing club, now a derelict brick building. To the left of that building and along the edges of the small pasture are so many blackberries during the summer that I've filled up a 64oz cup every day for weeks.
