🔍 When is it ripe?
Harvest leaves just before flowering for peak flavour. Cut stems back by a third regularly to encourage bushy growth. Flavour declines after flowering — cut flower spikes off to extend harvest.
The mint grows on the grass. I believe it's spearmint, but not 100% on that. Sometimes it'll overgrow when the grass isn't trimmed and be onto the sidewalk. Then it's great to pick.
