🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep blue-purple with a silvery bloom; stem scar (not stem) at the top. Taste is the best test — a truly ripe blueberry is sweet and has no pink flesh inside. Let the cluster go fully blue before picking the whole thing.
Blueberry bush (cannot remember the variety) located behind the Visitor's Center in the native plants display. I would not recommend eating these, as these are provided by a non-profit, but they are neat to look at.
