🔍 When is it ripe?
Green husks turn brown and split; nuts drop naturally. Gather promptly before wildlife. Kernels should be plump and cream-coloured. Dry before storing.
Two large trees, nuts left un-harvested. Both located on the edges of the main parking lot. Asked the park docent and they didn't care if I gathered the beautiful nuts in 2014. Drop to the earth in late summer, early Fall. Cross the large lawn to enjoy the cool stream while there! Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ
