🔍 When is it ripe?
Bright orange-red berry clusters. Intensely bitter raw due to parasorbic acid — cook or freeze before eating. Excellent for rowan jelly (traditional with game). Ripe when fully orange-red and slightly soft.
Birch is Paper bark variety. Also two types of willows,crack and goat
