The patch spreads out behind several backyards. You have to go up into the scrub a bit at the rear, but it's most easily accessible from up in the South-Western corner. The flowers are in season from Summer through Autumn, but the leaves can be eaten year round. the pickled seed pods are called poor mans capers.
