🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully black (not red or dark red) and comes off the stem with no resistance — zero pull. Dull rather than shiny; a shiny black berry is still slightly underripe and tart. Eat the same day for best flavour.
In Village Court apartments. It has part of its parking lot lined with blackberries- over a 40ft row. In the very back of the parking. (Aug 11,2019 Temporary construction right now blocking with fencing) But all is accessible from vacant lot behind parking lot and there are a ton more blackberry vines back there, but grass is like 1-3 feet tall.
