🔍 When is it ripe?
Similar to Persian walnut. Harvest when husks crack and darken. Smaller nuts with thick shells. Cure 2 weeks after husking.
Ask house owner to take walnuts! He was very obliging with me. Tree is set back quite a ways from the sidewalk, but some nuts may also fall in the street and on the sidewalk.
