🍎
Apple (Malus)
📍 339 SW 11th St, Redmond, OR 97756, USA
🗓 Season: August · September · October · November
🔍 When is it ripe?
Background skin colour shifts from green toward yellow; seeds turn brown when ripe. Fruit separates from the spur with a gentle upward twist. Aroma develops near the base. Wild Malus fruit is often small and tart — excellent for cider and jelly.
Smallish, crisp, sweet apples, some bugs, but plenty pieces are perfectly healthy (some overhangs the sidewalk, some inside yard, owner is happy to have people pick); you will need a ladder if you plan to pick extensively
