🔍 When is it ripe?
Turns red, yellow, or purple depending on variety; flesh gives slightly under thumb pressure. Taste-test — ripe ones are sweet-tart with little astringency. Drops easily from stem when gently twisted.
Yellow and red cherry plum trees grow on embankment opposite the Caltex Servo. Not a good place to stop in the road here but you could park and walk from Connewarra Crescent.
