Ramps abundant here in mid-spring. Start walking on the main trail-head. Majority of the ramps will be on the right side of the trail.
PLEASE ONLY FORAGE GREENS
If you take the bulb you will kill the plant. Ramps take 7 years to grow from seed to maturity. I take a knife with me to cut off the leaves and leave the bulbs in place so that there will continue to be an abundant community here for future years. Ramps are endanged, so please only take what you need.
