🔍 When is it ripe?
Background colour changes from green to yellow or cream (variety determines final colour). Seeds inside should be brown. Flesh yields slightly to thumb pressure. A ripe apple releases with a gentle upward twist — no pulling. Check the ground for natural drops.
The apple tree is at the entrance to the driveway on the left, so it's very easy to access. Like all apple trees it needs to be sprayed on a regular basis to produce clean skinned fruit.
