Fox grape Β· pigeon grape
π 484R+6R Exchange, PA, USA
Numerous wild grape vines along the loop trail. The fruit tastes somewhat similar to a concord grape, and the yield is usually very high. Some of the vines are in areas of dense brush or growing along tree branches, so they may be hard to reach. Picking them from a canoe is preferrable for some vines, as they often grow close to the water. Watch out for poison ivy if accessing them by land.
