🔍 When is it ripe?
Dense clusters of vivid orange berries, intensely sour. Ripe when bright orange and yields to gentle pressure. High in vitamins C, E, and omega-7. Harvest by cutting entire branches and freezing, then shaking frozen berries loose.
Urban food forestry at its finest! Nestled between heavy traffic is an island of sea buckthorn. Not many people pick these, so you can typically harvest all winter long.
