🔍 When is it ripe?
Red to yellow, about 2 cm across. Tart-sweet when ripe; flesh softens and the fruit falls readily. Good raw or cooked. Watch for early drop — often ready by mid-August.
Northeastern-ish corner of Lot 110. The sidewalk doesn't go right up to it but, if there aren't cars parked in front of it, there are some low-hanging branches that are easy to pick from. They should be ripe if they're a dusty purple color and brushing your hand against them is enough to make them fall. I'll give an update on quality when they're ripe enough to eat
