White mulberry

White mulberry
🗓 Season: May · June · July
🔍 When is it ripe?
White to pale pink or lavender when ripe. Very sweet and mild. Falls from the tree when ripe — spread a sheet below and shake. Extremely delicate; eat within hours. Ripe berries stain less than black mulberry but deteriorate even faster.
What a wonderful tree!! The berries are a little difficult to spot at first because they are white, but as long as you can find the tree you'll be in berry heaven! It's right up against the stone wall just across from the tan building on the other side of the water.
