🔍 When is it ripe?
Flat, dome-shaped, brilliant red berries. Very delicate — falls apart when fully ripe. Eat on the spot; does not travel. Ripe when uniformly red and separates without effort.
Lots of Thimbleberry bushes growing around the park, especially around border with roads. Requires state "Recreation Passport" to enter, be mindful of campers personal space and ask permission before picking on occupied campsites.
