🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully black (not red or dark red) and comes off the stem with no resistance — zero pull. Dull rather than shiny; a shiny black berry is still slightly underripe and tart. Eat the same day for best flavour.
A lot of blackberries all along Berrington's Lane. The lane goes through a golf course, and at points it looks like it might be private, but its a public road (also much more scenic + quieter than other nearby paths if you're walking in the area)
