🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red to purple-black when fully ripe. Falls naturally. Tart-sweet flavour. Spread cloth below and shake. Stains permanently.
Small mulberry growing at the end of an old building. Small fruit. Easy access.
There is another larger mulberry at the back of the lot furthest from the road. Very mosquito-ridden area when picking.
