🔍 When is it ripe?
Bright red and detaches from the core plug with no resistance. Fragrant and very soft when ripe. Autumn-fruiting varieties produce a second flush in September–October.
Very few small wild raspberries, could be weeded and helped to grow on frames.
Lovely walk to circle of trees atop hill, down and across the river, up and third track on the right.
Plus steel hunting cabin with three walls you can set up a tent inside for extra shielding from the wind.
