🔍 When is it ripe?
Clusters of orange-yellow fruit; ripe when fully orange with no green, yields to gentle pressure, and comes off the stem with a slight tug. Very sweet and aromatic when right — mealy if overripe. Short shelf life after picking.
Several Loquat trees. Located on the southern side of the parking lot of Pleasant Valley Pool. Despite the name, it is in the Bidwell Jr. High school complex, not at Pleasant Valley High School. They are directly off North Avenue and visible from the street.
