Now Forage

There is an ample stretch of mugwort along the field boundary here. Dried mugwort is a fairly commonly found addition to herbal sleeping pillows. I learned from Fern Freud last Summer and made a pillow with mugwort and pineapple weed (wild chamomile) from Sydenham, lavender from the garden and chamomile from a tea bag. I really like this blend, but note - as she does - that mugwort can bring a lot of life and colour to your dreams. I used a small amount of mugwort compared to the other herbs so that they could absorb some of the effects.
