🔍 When is it ripe?
Red raspberry: Bright red and detaches from the core plug with no resistance. Fragrant and very soft when ripe. Autumn-fruiting varieties produce a second flush in September–October.
Tomato: Uniformly coloured (red, orange, yellow, or purple by variety) with slight give when squeezed. A ripe tomato separates easily from the vine. Fully coloured fruit stored at room temperature — never refrigerate.
Alleyway garden located just off 6th Ave behind Boston and Corning streets Garden is located in East side of alley across from brick buildings loading dock. Pick only what you can use and leave some for others.
