🔍 When is it ripe?
Classic Bartlett: skin turns yellow-green from green. Harvest when the neck near the stem gives to light pressure. Ripens off the tree in 4–7 days at room temperature.
The man who lives here has let the neighbourhood know his pear trees are completely available to the public. I took a few on my last bike ride and they’re fantastic!
