🔍 When is it ripe?
Fragrant white-yellow flowers in June–July. Harvest when open for linden tea. Very fragrant; also used for honey production.
The leaves are at their best in May. but tender leaves remain through July. The cambium is edible in early summer.The flowers can be used in tea in July. The nuts are edible in the fall, but are way too small to be worth it. The buds are edible from October-April.
