🔍 When is it ripe?
Bright orange-red berry clusters. Intensely bitter raw due to parasorbic acid — cook or freeze before eating. Excellent for rowan jelly (traditional with game). Ripe when fully orange-red and slightly soft.
Medium size Rowan/Mountain Ash in the copse, North-East edge. Easily accessible.
