🔍 When is it ripe?
The green husk splits into four sections and turns brown when ripe. Shake branches or wait for fall. Cure in a cool, dry place for 2–3 weeks. Kernels should be full and not shrivelled.
3 Large Pecan trees at front of my property. Come by between September and November when they start to fall. And save some pecans for my neighbors and squirrels lol. Take care of each other.
