🔍 When is it ripe?
Skin turns from green to fully yellow; brown flecks ('sugar spots') signal peak sweetness. Harvest when yellow but firm; ripen at room temperature. Do not refrigerate unripe — turns skin black without ripening flesh.
Next to a small bar right on US 41 there is a large Banana tree stand! There seems to always be bananas on board!
Free for the picking but you may check with the bar owner just in case.
